Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that the villagers will now be able to directly give online demands/complaints and suggestions related to development works to the government. Chief Minister Manohar Lal said this on the occasion of launching the online portal Gram Darshan gramdarshan.haryana.gov.in in Chandigarh on Friday. Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala was also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said that on the basis of the suggestions given by the villagers, a blueprint for future development plans would be prepared. He directed the officers of all the departments to fix the priorities of five works of their department. Manohar Lal said that the priority of the government is to redress the grievances of the people. The complaints made by the villagers on the Gram Darshan portal will be linked with the CM window so that there is no duplication of complaints. The Chief Minister also directed to link the link of Gram Darshan Portal with ‘Jan Sahayak’ app.

Complaint can be filed only about your village

On the Gram Darshan Portal, any person will be able to file a complaint only in respect of the village of his permanent residence (which is recorded in the family identity card). The suggestions and demands given by the villagers will be directly visible to the Sarpanch/Panchayat Samiti member/Zilla Parishad member/MLA and MP. Which can be taken forward with the recommendation of the concerned public representatives.

Suggestion/complaint status information will be received through SMS

Along with registering the suggestion/complaint on the portal, an ID will be generated which will be sent to the applicant concerned through SMS. Along with this, the applicant will get updated information about the action taken on the suggestion / complaint from time to time through SMS.
