The Vigilance team has caught a Patwari working in Bhuna in Fatehabad district of Haryana, taking a bribe of one thousand rupees. Vigilance carried out this action in Bhuna tehsil.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Punjab Police reached Sirsa on Monday in the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. The team left the Faculty House of Chaudhary Devi Lal University and reached the Dera. During this, Sirsa SP Dr. Arpit Jain also remained on the spot.
The team went to the dera with tight police security. Here the SIT will interrogate Dera Sacha Sauda chairperson Vipassana Insan and PR Nain. Earlier, Vipassana Insan and PR Nain had not reached the IG office of Ludhiana despite issuing summons thrice. PR Nain had sent his medical saying that he was ill.
At the same time, no reply was sent from Vipassana Insan. In view of this attitude, the SIT had decided to go to Dera Sacha Sauda and interrogate both of them. Led by IG SPS Parmar of Punjab Police, a team comprising SSP Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar and 2 other officers reached Sirsa for questioning.
