[10:34 pm, 04/12/2021] Aradhya: The ranking list has been released by ICAR. In this, 67 universities of the country have got ranking. Hisar’s Chaudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University has got 9th position and Lala Lajpat Rai Veterinary and Animal Science University has got 33rd position.
National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) Karnal, Haryana has got the first rank in the country among agricultural universities. The institute has got this ranking on the basis of annual activities done in the year 2020.
The ranking list for the year 2020 has been released by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The list contains the names of 64 agricultural universities of the country. It includes three universities of Haryana. Apart from Karnal NDRI, the names of two institutions of Hisar are also included in this. Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar has been ranked 9th in the country and Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar has got 33rd ranking.
NDRI spokesperson Ajay Dang said that all universities and institutions are functioning under the council. For ranking, applications are sought from all the institutes on behalf of the council, in which how many students went to the institute. How many people got employment, how much work was done for farmers and industries.
