Chandigarh, India. The Environment Society of India in association with Regal Kitchen Foods Limited held a felicitation ceremony to honor the Child Scientists who represented Chandigarh in the 30th National Children’s Science Congress held at Ahmedabad and 108th Indian Science Congress held at Nagpur this year.
The award function was held at Karuna Sadan 11-B Chandigarh. The ceremony began with a havan ceremony.
Dr RC Mishra IPS DGP Haryana Police and MD Haryana Police Housing Corporation Panchkula, The President of the Environment Society of India felicitated the students and their guide teachers. The students and teachers who had participated in the national science congress were Manveer Singh, Raghav Veer and their guide Ms. Jyoti from KB DAV Senior Secondary School, Daksh Kalia, Aditya Singla and their guide teacher Dr. Komal Kaushal from St. Kabir Public School, Bhavesh Mahajan, Anubhav Dogra and their guide teacher Mrs. Reema Narula from Delhi Public School, Saksam Aggarwal, Samvir Singh and their guide teacher Dr. Basundhara from St. Anne’s Convent School, Smriti Kumari, Avneet Kaur and their guide teacher Mrs. Baljinder Kaur from Govt. Model Sr. Secondary Sector 46 and Uday Singh, Kushal Bajaj, and their guide teacher Mrs. Vindiya Khanna from Vivek High School Sector 38B. N K Jhingan, the secretary of the society welcomed the guests. The vote of Thanks was proposed by Sh. Hem Raj Satija, Member ESI.
