The first incident is in the Nalchami Patti area of Tehri. Where the car fell into a ditch while backing up near Holta village. Five people including the couple died in the accident. The second accident took place near Lohiahed in Khatima, where the uncontrolled car fell into the Sharda canal. In this, the woman, three children, and the driver died due to drowning. Gabbar Singh, a resident of Holta village, had gone to his daughter-in-law’s house. In the evening everyone was returning from there by car. Then, while backing up on the Sendul-Patud village-Rajgaon motorway, the car went out of control and fell into a 200-meter-deep gorge. Gabbar Singh (63) in the accident. His wife Babli Devi (59), Tulsi Devi (65) wife Bhagwan Singh, Sona Devi (55) wife Sarop Singh, and Urmila Devi (50) wife Rai Singh died on the spot. Gabbar Singh was a retired employee of BSNL, he had come to his village Holta 4 days back with his wife. A similar incident has also happened in Khatima.
