BJP president Jatinder Pal Malhotra in Dadu Majra and candidate Sanjay Tandon in Dhanas got strong public support during contact campaign

During the door-to-door public contact programme on Sunday, people showered love on BJP leaders with flowers.
From one end of Chandigarh, BJP president Jatinder Pal Malhotra launched a vigorous public contact campaign in Dadu Majra, while on the other hand, BJP’s Lok Sabha elections candidate Sanjay Tandon remained successful in the campaign in Dhanas.
Apart from these two senior leaders of Chandigarh BJP, other BJP leaders contacted the public visiting door-to-door in different areas and appealed people to vote in support of the BJP on June 1.
BJP Jatinder Pal Malhotra said he became emotional with the warm welcome that people gave to the BJP.
People showed more enthusiasm for the BJP than they had expected. He said the love and respect that BJP leaders are getting from the public today is because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Along with this, anger was also seen among the people towards the leaders of the Congress and the arrogant alliance. Malhotra said most of the people had said that during the elections to be held in Chandigarh on June 1, they will vote to teach a lesson to the fugitive leaders, because they do not want to see the condition of Chandigarh becoming like Ludhiana and Anandpur Sahib.
BJP President told the journalists during the public contact campaign that the target of BJP leaders was to directly contact more than 10 thousand people on Sunday, but today double the target i.e. about 20 thousand people were contacted. In the next days, this campaign will continue.
He said amid the scorching heat, people’s enthusiasm towards the BJP is infusing energy among the BJP workers also. Filled with this enthusiasm and confidence, people today raised the slogan of BJP will cross the mark of winning 400 seats in country.
