Chandigarh: Senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former Pradesh Adhyaksh (State President) of Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh, Sanjay Tandon, inaugurated the Janmashtami festival today at the Gaudiya Math Temple in Sector-20, Chandigarh, along with his grand daughter Miraya Tandon and son Arya Tandon. The event, organized by the temple management, marked the auspicious occasion of Lord Krishna’s birth and included the traditional ritual of swinging Lord Bal Gopal on a beautifully decorated swing.

Sanjay Tandon extended his prayers for the prosperity and well-being of all citizens to Lord Krishna, seeking his blessings for the entire nation. He also conveyed his warmest wishes to everyone on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami.

Miraya and Arya had the opportunity to witness various cultural performances and enjoy the festivities at the fair. The event saw the presence of the organizers, including Jay Prakash Gupta, Rajesh Gupta, Ruby Gupta, Hukam Chand, Giridhari Lal Jindal, Bhimsen Agrawal, and other devotees of Lord Krishna, who joined in celebrating the birth of the divine Lord.
