The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-e-Muslim (AIMIM), led by MP Asaduddin Owaisi, has put a condition that if the Samajwadi Party is ready to make a senior Muslim MLA of the Partnership Front as Deputy Chief Minister if a non-BJP government is formed in UP, then His party and the front may have an alliance with the SP.

Party’s state president Shaukat Ali said in a conversation with Hindustan that the Partnership Sankalp Morcha is ready to contest the elections together with the Samajwadi Party, but the condition will be that if the government is formed, a senior Muslim MLA from the front should be made Deputy Chief Minister. The party’s national president will once again be in Uttar Pradesh in early August. In view of the Vidhan Sabha elections, Owaisi met the party workers in Moradabad and nearby areas just a few days ago and contemplated the strategy to strengthen the organization and activate the workers.

During his visit in early August, Owaisi will meet workers in Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Kaushambi and other adjoining districts. Apart from this, he will also meet different groups of intellectuals during this time. These will include lawyers, officers, doctors, engineers and other professionals, especially from Muslim, Dalit, and backward classes.

Party’s state president Shaukat Ali said that the organizational structure has come up in UP. District presidents have been made in all 75 districts, district units have also been formed. The party has already announced to field its candidates on hundred seats in this time’s Legislative Assembly elections of UP. In the conversation, Shaukat Ali said that if we want to stop the BJP in UP this time, then our partnership with SP-BSP, Sankalp Morcha, should fight together. This will save 20 percent votes of Muslims from getting scattered. Morcha convenor Om Prakash Rajbhar has already said that if the government of his front is formed, then every year there will be a new Chief Minister in the state, that is, there will be five Chief Ministers in the state during the tenure of five years.

In reply to another question, the state president of AIMIM said that there will be no alliance of his party or front with Congress as Congress is a sinking ship, whoever is on board drowns himself. As for the Aam Aadmi Party, it has no mass base in UP.
