An 18-year-old girl student ended her life by jumping into a canal in Punjab’s Patiala district. Scooty was found on the banks of the canal. The student took this step when there were fewer bands in IELTS.
A case of suicide of a girl resident of Tripadi Town of Patiala has come to light by jumping into Bhakra canal after getting low band in the IELTS examination. With the help of divers, the police recovered the girl’s body from the Najjik canal of village Pasiana and kept it in the mortuary of Government Rajindra Hospital for post-mortem.
The deceased has been identified as Krispy (18). According to the police, Krispy was worried about her studies for some time. She was preparing for IELTS to go abroad in a private institute. In the past, the bands came down in his exams. Due to which she had come under more mental stress. Meanwhile, she went missing from home. While searching, his Activa was found on the side of the canal on Nabha road. Later on searching the body was recovered from the canal.
