On Monday, the news of 86-year-old famous villain Prem Chopra and his wife Uma Chopra being Corona positive came to light. Both have been admitted to Lilavati Hospital for treatment. Apart from this, Ekta Kapoor, John Abraham, Priya Runchal, Delnaaz Irani were also reported to be corona on Monday itself as we told in our previous news stories.
The doctors say that both will be discharged in a day or two. Doctor Jalil Parkar is treating him only. Both these corona patients have been given monoclonal antibody cocktail and they are recovering. Doctors say that even after being 80 plus, his recovery is happening fast. Significantly, Prem’s wife Uma is Raj Kapoor’s sister. They have been married for almost 60 years. They have three daughters – Rakita, Punita and Prerna Chopra.
Two months ago Prem slipped down the stairs. Recently he was seen in Yash Raj’s film Bunty Aur Babli 2. Prem Chopra also went to the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night Awards held in Dubai, when he had plaster on his hand. He had suffered this injury in Dubai itself.
