The National Doctors day was celebrated by Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri collaborating with Fortis Hospital, Mohali with thanking and honouring the medical fraternity who is serving the public at frontfoot with such bravery during the time of the COVID -19 Pandemic .
However, The event took place at Fortis Complex wherein the CGC, Jhanjeri staff members express their gratitude to the unsung warriors ; Doctors and other medical professionals as they worked tirelessly and put their own life into danger to save the lives of the people during the infection.
Moreover, in the celebrations the staff from Fortis hospital along with Dr. Amit K. Mandal were presented with Momentos by the CGC Jhanjeri staff.
As , the medical fraternity contributed a lot for the humanity. The invisible enemy of microscopic size , COVID -19 engulfed the whole world and left the public helpless . However, The doctors acted as the fighter of corona and saved everyone.
The president of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri ; S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal spoke on the ocassion that; “The role played by Doctors in our society cannot be substituted. We all should be thankful to them as they do not show any fear when they treat COVID -19 patients. This is only a small token of appreciation for the contribution they have made to mankind”.
Apart from this, Every year on the first date of July ‘National Doctors Day’ is celebrated all over India. It is celebrated to honour the birth and death anniversary of great physician and second chief minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. The day is served to show gratitude to all the doctors . Moreover, their importance has been increased during the pandemic where the doctors have aided the patients .
