A five – year old resident of Sulur in Coimbatore district has been sexually assualted by a head constable. The head constable convicted of assault in sentenced to five years rigorone imprisonment by women’s court along with a five of 50 thousand rupees .
According to the prosecution the five year old girl was traveling in the train while sleeping the convict harassed her. The girl alarmed her parents and other passengers to wake up. They caught the convict red handed. The incident took place on the night of sep 1, 2018. A case was registered and now the sentence has also been delivered.
