On the questions arising on the shortage of Remedisvir in the country, the Central Government said that there is no shortage of Remedesvir in the country. Also said that Remedisvir is only for the patients dependent on oxygen admitted in the hospital, it will not be used in the treatment at home. The central government said on Tuesday that doctors should ensure ‘judicious and equitable’ use of the anti-virus drug ‘Remadecivir’. Also said that it should be given only to serious patients of Covid-19 in hospitals, it is not for use at home. NITI Aayog member (health) Dr VK Paul said, “Remedesvir should be used only for patients who need to be admitted to hospital and given oxygen from outside. This is a prerequisite. There is no question of its use at home and in cases of mild symptoms of infection and do not buy it from the drugstore.
