Four phases of voting in the West Bengal elections are done and now there are four more elections remaining. In such a situation, Mamata Banerjee has set her back to enter the electoral fray and after the ban imposed by the Election Commission, she was seen attacking PM Modi.
Why is the election of the fifth phase necessary for Mamata?
Fifth phase election in the state has started on Saturday and this phase is considered to be very important for Mamata Banerje. For the fifth phase on Saturday, 45 seats of Bengal are to be contested. Explain that elections are being held in the maximum seats in this phase. The second big reason is that in the 45 seats where voting in the fifth phase, the BJP got more votes than TMC in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Out of these 45 seats, TMC won 23 seats.
If the votes of these seats were mixed, the BJP had secured 45 percent of the vote here, while the TMC had got 41.5 percent of the vote. However TMC won 23 seats here and BJP got 22 seats. In the year 2016 too, TMC won 32 of these seats. Whereas in 2011, the party got five seats less than this.
Fifth phase voting on April 17
In such a situation, if TMC does not get success in 45 seats, then it may be like questioning its reputation. Elections started in Bengal on 27 March and now the fifth phase of elections is to be held on 17 April. The sixth phase election is to be held on April 22 and the seventh phase will be held on April 26. Not only this, the last phase of voting will be held on April 29.
