At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in the lower areas of the state, Sirmaur, Solan, Shimla, Bilaspur, Una in the next 48 hours.

Local residents are in panic as the landslides continue and the monsoon has not returned from the state.
IMD Shimla director Surendra Paul told that the monsoon is around normal. In the next 48 hours, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the low-lying areas of Sirmaur, Solan, Shimla, Bilaspur, Una. There will be no rain in the rest of the state. However, after 36-48 hours, the monsoon has reduced. After 6th, rain activities will increase again in the state.
