The UP government is preparing to relax the Corona curfew after June 1. Relief can be given in districts where the number of infected people are less.

The UP government is considering easing the partial corona curfew after the pace of corona infection slows down. After the reduction in the number of infected in the state and improvement in the recovery rate, it is believed that after May 31, the government may remove some restrictions in a phased manner.

An order can be issued from June 1 to open markets etc. and also to open government and private offices with limited number of employees. A decision on this will be taken in a team-9 meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday.

The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has given permission to all the states to take a decision about the restrictions by assessing the current situation with strict instructions by June 30. Districts with more patients have been asked to maintain strictness. In such a situation, the state government may decide to remove certain restrictions in those districts where the situation is under control.

According to sources, the government may relax the week days, but the night and weekend curfew can be continued. The government fears that abruptly ending the Corona curfew may increase the number of covid-19 cases again. The government wants the restrictions to be removed only when the number of infected people falls below 1000. This is the reason that conditions will be assessed in a phased manner. Only after the situation is normal, there is a preparation to waive restrictions on different activities in many stages.
