Zirakpur, 13 April 2024: Former MLA of Derabassi Assembly Constituency NK Sharma has said that there is no greater virtuous act than donating blood. Today, on the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Day and Baisakhi, N.K. Sharma was addressing the villagers by participating as the chief guest in the blood donation camp organized by Naujawan Sabha in nearby village Ramgarh Bhudda.
He said that this effort of the officials of Naujawan Sabha is commendable. If the youth wish, they can change the direction of any campaign. While blood donation saves people’s lives in emergencies, there is a need to remove misconceptions about it. There is no harm in the body of a person who donates blood.
On this occasion, while NK Sharma gave mementoes to the blood donors, the officials of the Naujawan Sabha also honored them.
