Ambala, November 5, 2023 – A large cow protection rally was held today in the village of Khatouli near Ambala city. The event was organized by the National Bajrang Dal team of Ambala at the Bhagwan Shri Parshuram Gaushala temple.

The rally featured 108 yagna kunds (fire ritual pits) where activists performed collective yagnas (fire rituals) and took oaths to serve and protect cows. Prominent leaders of the Bajrang Dal team from Panchkula participated in the rituals. The activists demanded that the government give sacred status to cows as ‘Rashtra Mata’ (national mother).

They asked for stringent laws and capital punishment for cow slaughter and beef related crimes. The activists resolved to not let cows be used as objects of trade and commerce.

Cows hold an important place in Hindu culture and religion. The rally organizers said that cows are revered by Hindus and are tied to their spiritual beliefs. They accused the government of making a mockery of Hindu sentiments by not giving proper protection to cows.

The protesting Hindus stated that cow slaughter hurts their religious feelings. They said that the government should bring tougher laws to ban cow slaughter and give cows the status of ‘Rashtra Mata’. The activists vowed to continue their peaceful struggle to protect cows and Hindu beliefs.The cow protection rally highlights the demands of many Hindus who want cows to be protected from slaughter. They expect the government to take their sentiments seriously and bring in stricter legal protection for cows across the country.
