Uttarakhand Athletes Shine Bright in National Games

Dehradun: Uttarakhand athletes won gold and bronze medals in the recently concluded 37th National Games held in Goa. In the 10-kilometer race walk event, Ankit Kumar from Pauri Garhwal clinched the gold medal. Meanwhile, in the 73 kg category of Taekwondo, Khushbu Yadav bagged the bronze medal.

Ankit Kumar, a resident of Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand, stood first in the 10 km race walk competition. Through his stellar performance, he was able to grab the coveted gold medal for his state. Ankit’s achievement is a proud moment for Uttarakhand’s sporting ambitions and highlights the abundant talent in the state.
