An ASI was accused of rape in Haryana’s Jind district. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the widow. The victim has told that the accused carried out the incident on the pretext of marriage.
In order to control the increasing pollution, the Air Quality Management Commission has issued a new guideline regarding industries in the NCR region, which rice millers are opposing.
According to the new instructions, except PNG industries in the NCR region, the rest of the industries (operation and process) can be run for 8 hours in a day and only five days in a week from Monday to Friday.
Industries will have to be closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Rice millers argue that the whole process of running a mill is lengthy. Therefore it is not possible.
