Students rate remains low
Of course, cases of corona are coming less in Haryana at this time, but the fear of it remains among the students and parents. For this reason, on the first day of opening of school from class VI to VIII, only 45 percent students reached schools in the state on Friday, while 55 percent students remained absent. The highest attendance was 71 percent in Jind, 68 percent in Mahendragarh and 64 percent in Rewari, while the lowest was only 23 percent in Nuh 12, Palwal district.
Let us inform that there are 5784 schools from 6th to 8th standard in the state. Out of these, the total number of students is 6,09,473. In view of the Kovid rules, 50 percent means half the number of 3,04,737 students were allowed by the government to come to the school. But only 1,38,359 students were present. This is 55 percent less than the prescribed number.
It is worth noting that the government has opened schools only under the Covid rules and the consent of the parents is necessary for the child to come to the school. On the other hand, the attendance of students of classes 9 to 12, opened from July 16, was 53 percent. The total number of students in 3365 schools of the state is 745111, according to half the number, 372556 are allowed to come. But on Friday, only 195600 students reached the schools
