Sunderlal bahuguna , leader of chipko movement and environmentalist , died due to Corona in Rishikesh , an all India medical science institute , the founder of the youth , said that bahuguna is a very great contributor to the freedom of the city tree from the iron grills made in the name of design . He along with the youth played an important role in giving heritage status to 30 trees 300 to 400 years old in the city. Pramod said that the tree were imprisoned in an grill in Chandigarh sector -17 in the name of beautification . I gave them information about this , then where did they immediately take it to the spot. He protested against it , saying it’s side effects . The very next day this issue made newspaper headlines and finally the administration had remove the iron Grill.
