Moradabad : A girl, just 16 years old mercilessly raped again and again in front of her parents and kept as hostage by eight men in rage of revenge as her elder brother had flee with a woman of those eight men’s family.
The girl along with her parents were forcefully taken to Amroha from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh by their neighbours in the name of searching of the couple on 28 June, a day after couple had flee. The neighbours were revengeful and allegedly gang-raped the girl. She was gang-raped by missing woman’s father, brothers and uncles in front of her parents where her parents were not able to do anything to save her because of the terror.
A day after, parents of the girl were set free and they sent them back with a cautioning that do not try to inform police otherwise their daughter will be dead. They kept the girl hostage and gang-raped her again and again till she came back on 4 July.
Later on the same day, a FIR was filed against all the eight men from which seven men are identified but one is still unidentified. In the FIR is launched by police against eight men under the sections 342 for wrongful confinement, 376-D for gang-rape, 354 for attempting to outrage the modesty of a woman, 506 for criminal intimidation and all other relevant sections under POSCO Act.
Police is working with multiple teams to search the accused and police is also in the search of the couple. Police is investigating and searching accused to arrest them.
