The victim is currently four months pregnant. Some time ago, she had given an application in the court of First Additional Civil Judge Junior Division located at Ramnagar, Roorkee for abortion.

Due to this his condition worsened, which created a stir there. Doctors treated him for about one and a half hours in the trauma center of Civil Hospital. When the condition did not improve much, the victim was referred to AIIMS Rishikesh.
SP Dehat Swapan Kishore Singh said that the accused of rape is in jail. Nothing can be said yet as to why the victim consumed pesticide. It is being told that the victim is extremely mentally disturbed. The owner of the house where she lives has also asked her to vacate the room. It has also come to light that the accused party is pressurizing them to withdraw the case.
