DILIP KUMAR: On the sad demise of veteran actor ; Bollywood celebs and politicians pay tribute

The Legendary actor Dilip Kumar in the age of 98 left this world. However , As per the sources, the veteran actor was buried in Mumbai on Wednesday with full state honours. As, the actor was wrapped in the national flag and was taken to Juhu Kabristan, where the film industry people and numerous of fans lined up to bid him an emotional farewell.

Moreover, On June 30, the ‘Tragedy king’ went to the hospital after complaining of breathlessness.

Additionally, The actor’s family friend Faisal Farooqui confirmed the news of the actor’s death on Twitter. “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, a few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return,”

Apart from this, On the sad demise of the actor Many celebrities as well as politicians paid their tribute and condolences to actors family and friends.

Amitabh Bachchan mourns and condolences through his twitter handle, He wrote; “An institution has gone .. whenever the history of Indian Cinema will be written, it shall always be ‘before Dilip Kumar, and after Dilip Kumar’ .. My duas for peace of his soul and the strength to the family to bear this loss .. Deeply saddened.”

Moreover, Aamir Khan paid tribute to the legend, thanking him for the “invaluable, priceless and unique gift” he has given to all his fans through his work.

As per the sources, Dilip Kumar also possessed the distinction of being the only Indian recipient of Pakistan’s highest civilian award, Nishan-e-Imtiaz. However, For his contribution to cinema, Dilip Kumar was conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest award in the artform. He also received the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award of the country. Moreover, he held the record for winning the most Filmfare Awards in the Best Actor category: 8. He also won the inaugural trophy in the same category in 1954.
