Tokyo Olympic 2020: Bollywood Celebrities congratulates Indian Men’s Hockey Team for victory

In Tokyo Olympics 2020, India men’s hockey team defeated Germany 5-4 and win the bronze medal. As, it is their first medal in Olympics after a gap of 41 years. However, India had won last at the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

People at global level congratulated the team and celebrate their victory. Apart from them, Bollywood stars also through their social media handle congratulated and celebrated the men’s hockey team victory , their efforts and a glorious win.

As, The “King” of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan wished and Congratulated the team. As,The superstar tweeted, “Wow!! Indian Men’s Hockey Team Congratulations. Resilience and skill at its peak. What an exciting match.” The actor had already been rooting for India’s win in Hockey for both men and women teams.

Actor Akshay Kumar popularly known as “Khiladi of Bollywood” also tweeted, “Congratulations Team India on rewriting history! An Olympic medal after 41 years! What a match, what a comeback! #Tokyo2020” After the historic win, Anil kapoor wished his father was alive to watch the match. He reacted to PM Modi’s tweet and said, “Phenomenal win .. wish my dad was alive to see this historic day will be happy up there .. Thank you so much men’s hockey team ..congratulations !!!”

Rahul Bose also tweeted; The Indian men’s hockey team. You beauties. Well played, Germany. #OlympicBronze Congratulations @sports_odisha !
