Improvement in Uttar Pradesh! In 23 days 2.34 lakh cases reduced.

Covid-19’s second wave in Uttar Pradesh is cautiously coming to an end. In last 24 hours 3,981 new cases of covid-19 registered in the state and Active cases have also come down in the state as compared to yesterday. Recovery rate increased around 11,918 people recovered and number of active cases in the state are 76,700 in last 24 hours. In Uttar Pradesh, 2 lakh 34 thousand cases have been reduced in the last 23 days.For the past several days, UP is also breaking its daily records in the matter of testing. According to the information given by the UP government, 3.26 lakh tests of corona have been done in the state in the last 24 hours.

Covid-19 vaccination of people in the age group of 18 to 44 will be done in all district headquarters from June 1 in Uttar Pradesh. The state government spokesperson said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to vaccinate people in the age group of 18-44 at all the district headquarters in the next phase from June 1. The spokesman said that vaccination is of utmost importance in view of prevention from Kovid and currently the program of vaccination of people in the age group of 18 to 44 is going on in 23 districts of the state.

The state government started the first phase of vaccination campaign for people in the age group of 18-44 from May 1 in Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Meerut and Bareilly districts. After this, in the second phase, vaccination was started in Gautam Budh Nagar district (total 18 districts) including 17 district headquarters with all the municipal corporations of the state from May 10 and in the third phase it was expanded to 23 districts.

The Chief Minister has now directed to vaccinate people in the age group of 18-44 in all the districts of the state. According to the official statement, vaccination campaign of people above 45 years of age is going on in all the districts of the state and till Saturday more than 1 crore 62 lakh doses of covid-19 vaccine have been given.
