The police arrested a 32-year-old youth resident of Masiyar of Banjar in Gushaini with one and a half kilograms of charas. On Saturday night, the police had put up a naka in Gushaini. During this, the charas was recovered after searching the youth. Police have registered a case against the accused under the NDPS Act.
According to the information, on Saturday night, the police team had put up a naka in Gushaini of Banjar sub-division. During this, the police saw a young man coming from the front. Seeing the police, the young man got a little nervous.

The police got some doubt on this. On enquiry, he could not give satisfactory answer. When the accused Devi Ram village Masiyar, Tehsil Banjar, District Kullu was searched, one kg 522 grams of charas was recovered in a bag with him. After that the police arrested him. The young man was preparing to move the consignment of drugs here and there in the dark of night. Even before this, the police caught him and dashed his plans.After the arrest of the youth of the local area with Charas, many discussions have started.
In this regard, Superintendent of Police Gurdev Sharma said that the drug trade is being attacked from time to time by the Special Investigation Branch in the district. The police team has caught a young man with a consignment of one and a half kilograms of drugs. Action will be taken against drug dealers. Strict interrogation of the arrested accused is going on. The process of presenting the accused in the court is being implemented.
