Speculation of cabinet expansion in Uttar Pradesh intensified after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is believed that Jitin Prasad, who left the Congress two days ago and joined the BJP, can become a part of the cabinet.

The assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh are to be held in the next year i.e. 2022, but the political turmoil has almost broken out. The result of this is that the most upheaval is going on in the Bharatiya Janata Party itself. In view of this, CM Yogi had to come to Delhi in a hurry. Meanwhile, speculation has also started on cabinet expansion in Uttar Pradesh.It is being said that Jitin, who joined BJP from Congress two days ago, may get ‘prasad’ of ministerial post. He may be made MLC in July. Apart from this, former IAS Arvind Kumar Sharma can also be included in the cabinet.

According to the information, MLC elections are to be held for five seats in Uttar Pradesh during July. It is believed that Jitin Prasad can be made MLC on one of these seats. Actually, BJP was looking for a strong Brahmin face in Uttar Pradesh for a long time. It is believed that this search is ending in the form of Jitin Prasad.
