NEET paper leak kingpin Rocky arrested, sent on 10 days CBI remand; Know who is kingpin Rocky
Patna: In the NEET paper leak case, the CBI has arrested a person named kingpin Rakesh Ranjan alias Rocky from Patna. The CBI used very advanced technology to catch Rakesh. In search of Rakesh Ranjan, raids were conducted at Patna, Calcutta and two more places around Patna. Rakesh used to mail from his wife’s mail ID. CBI reached him by tracing the same IP address. The accused Rakesh Ranjan has been produced in the court and taken on 10-day remand by the CBI.
It is being told that Rakesh Ranjan alias Rocky was trying to flee to Nepal, but the CBI caught him in time. Actually, Rocky is the link through which the CBI can reach the main setter. The role of the main setter is the most important link in the paper leak. Rocky is originally from Nawada in Bihar and his name is Rakesh. For some years, he has been running a restaurant in Ranchi.
Rocky is said to be a relative of Sanjeev Mukhiya. It is suspected that he has an important role in the paper leak case. Rocky has been arrested from the Outer Patna area. In fact, the CBI team investigating the NEET paper leak case arrested two more accused Sunny and Ranjit on Tuesday. One of the two arrested accused is an examinee while the other was the father of another examinee. Ranjit was arrested from Gaya and Sunny from Nalanda. On Wednesday, the CBI produced both of them in the court and took a 6-day remand. The CBI got Rocky’s location during interrogation of these accused.
In this case, an accused named Chintu was on CBI remand. Rocky’s name came up during interrogation. After Chintu’s remand period ended, he has been sent to jail. The CBI suspects that the paper was leaked from Oasis School in Hazaribagh and the paper reached Sanjeev Mukhiya. Then Sanjeev Mukhiya sent the question paper to his henchman Chintu’s mobile. Chintu and Rocky got the paper solved by MBBS students. After this, Chintu and Rocky gave the question paper and answers to the candidates in Patna’s Learn Play School. Meanwhile, the remand of Aman arrested from Dhanbad, Ehsanul Haq, former principal of Hazaribagh’s Oasis School, Imtiaz, former vice principal and journalist Jamaluddin has been extended by the CBI’s special court. All four are from Hazaribagh. Their interrogation is ongoing.
