The Uttarakhand government has continued the process of distributing gifts to the employees in the election year. In this episode, on Tuesday, the state cabinet has increased the honorarium of 22 thousand Upal employees and 12500 ASHA workers. The honorarium of 7791 village heads has been increased from Rs 1500 per month to Rs 3500. In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, 29 proposals of various departments were discussed, out of which 26 proposals were approved and three proposals were postponed. Government spokesperson Subodh Uniyal informed about the decisions of the cabinet.

On the basis of the recommendation of the cabinet sub-committee, the cabinet increased the honorarium in two slabs of 22 thousand sub-divisional employees. The honorarium of subanal employees with service from one year to 10 years has been increased by Rs.2000 per month and for employees with more than 10 years of service by Rs.3000 per month. The cabinet directed the Finance Department to make a system to increase the honorarium of the Upal employees every year.

Now Rs 6500 will come every month in the bank account of ASHA workers. The cabinet has increased the honorarium of ASHA by Rs 1000 per month. 500 will also be given as incentive amount.

The honorarium of 33 thousand Anganwadi workers, mini Anganwadi workers and assistants of the state will also increase. The cabinet has authorized the Chief Minister for this. Now the CM will take a decision regarding this.

Following the announcement of the CM, the cabinet has increased the honorarium of 7791 village heads of the state by Rs 1500 per month to Rs 3500. This will put a burden of 18.69 crore on the exchequer.

The cabinet has approved the purchase of three lakh tablets for the students of secondary education and higher education. For this, a procurement committee will be formed under the chairmanship of Secretary School Education.
