Akali leader and former Punjab Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal met Baba Labh Singh at Matka Chowk in Chandigarh on Saturday. He said that when he was in Parliament, he saw Baba’s video.
Baba was waving the flag in the rain and storm. Such people are the great strength of the Khalsa Panth that whatever challenges they face, they have stood firm. He is sitting as the voice of the farmers and made me want to meet him today and sit at his feet. I sit and seek his blessings.
I have seen that such people who are leaving everything and fighting for their agriculture, their community and sect, we have respect on them. He said that meeting Labh Singh felt like a true tribute to the true spirit of the farmers’ movement.
Let us tell you that Baba has faced every difficulty for the last 5 months while continuing his agitation at the Chowk. He said that he has proved to be a memorable lesson and inspiration for all of us. He is the embodiment of true and selfless service
