Dehradun: After the consent of Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, Education Minister Arvind Pandey has announced to cancel the intermediate examination in the state in view of covid-19. In this regard, a meeting was also held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Education Minister Arvind Pandey.

The Education Minister said that no student will be failed in Intermediate. In this regard, according to the norms and decision of the CBSE Board, he also directed to prepare an action plan accordingly in the state and said that the process adopted by CBSE should be followed.

Chief Secretary Om Prakash, Secretary Education Shri R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Director General Education Vinay Shankar Pandey and officers of the Education Department were present in the meeting.
It was also decided in the meeting that as per the decision and guidelines taken by the Government of India and the CBSE Board in the state in the national interest, the intermediate examination will be canceled in the state.

Talking to the media after the meeting, Education Minister Arvind Pandey said that in view of the situation of Corona in the country, the Central Government and CBSE Board have decided to cancel the Intermediate examination in the interest of students, teachers and parents and the nation. He said that as per the instructions given by Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, he announces to cancel the intermediate examination in the state.
