Antibodies have been found in more than 85 percent of the people of the state. This has been revealed in the sero survey report. According to this survey report which lasted for 2 weeks, antibodies to fight corona infection have been found in 85% of the people in 6 districts. It includes Chamba, Kangra, Shimla, Kullu, Hamirpur and Bilaspur. The reports of six districts Mandi, Solan, Kinnaur, Lahaul Spiti, Sirmaur and Una are yet to come.
In this survey, 400 random samples were taken from every district of all categories. This campaign was going on in Himachal since September 1. It is completed on 14th September. The state government is now compiling these results and sending them to ICMR. Antibodies have been found in maximum number of people in Shimla district. After evaluating the reports of 4800 samples from 12 districts, the Union Health Ministry will issue the final report. Earlier, during the second wave in Kullu district, similar sero survey was conducted by the Union Health Ministry.
Samples taken for people above 18 years of age
On the instructions of the Union Health Ministry, this survey has been conducted in Himachal for 2 weeks. In this, samples of men and women of above age group including children below 18 years of age, youth between 18 to 44 years of age, girls were taken. Cities and villagers were also selected on the basis of random sample.
Data of survey report in six districts
Took 400 samples in district Chamba. Of these, antibodies were found in 345. Antibodies have been found in 332 out of 400 in Kangra, 360 out of 400 in Shimla, 340 in Kullu, 300 in Hamirpur and 362 in Bilaspur.
