The occurrence of cloudburst has again come to the fore in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. In the Raghupur valley of outer Saraj of district Kullu, around 4 o’clock in the evening, due to cloudburst, there was a flood in the Phanouti Khad. The fields along the ravine along the Rohachla-Juhad road have also been washed away in the floods. At the same time, the pea crop has been damaged due to rain. The flood caused by cloudburst has also erased the names of the pedestrian paths connecting the village with the road and the communication of people from one village to another has been cut off.
Local Panchayat Deputy President Bhajan Singh and Ward Member Sohan Lal Negi said that there has been a sudden flood due to cloudburst along Raghupur. He said about 20 meters of the road was completely washed away by the floods. At the same time, the weather has cooled down due to the fall of the Rohtang Pass along with the Rohtang Pass in Baralacha and Kunzum Pass.
