Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati on Monday said that BSP purely stands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the India-China border issue.

Mayawati bats for Modi

While speaking to media in press conference, Mayawati said that politics of BJP and Congress accusing each other on the India-China border issue is not in the interest of the nation, it is a matter of great concern. Many other issues are being ignored due to which China can take advantage of this situation. Ultimately the citizens of our country are at a loss.

The BSP chief said that the BSP was formed for the benefit of people belonging to backward classes, Adivasis and converted minorities. When this party was formed, the Congress was in power.

She further said that if the Congress party had done something for the benefits of this class of people, there was no requirement to create BSP.. I want to tell BJP and Congress that BSP is not a toy for anyone. It is an independent party formed at the national level. The BSP chief continued her attack on the Congress and said that the in Congress ruling states tended the poor people migrated from their working states to their native states for work amidst the coronavirus.

She further explained that if Congress had done anything to help them, they would not go to different states and ask for employment. BJP should learn something from Congress and should not repeat what they did.

With this she said that to make India self dependent one has to work really hard. Mayawati also urged the Center to control fuel prices in the country. She said that on one hand citizens are troubled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, on the other hand this continuous increase of fuel has further aggravated their problems.
